As far as mfg and model info of the device, In have 2 but they are both fairly generic from Amazon (got the 2nd I as I thought inncorectly that the 1st one was faulty) This is the first one :- DIGITNOW! Audio Video Capture Card, Full HD UP to 1080P HDMI to USB 2.0 Live Video Recorder Game Capture Card for Live Broadcasting, High Definition Acquisition This is the second one :- Papeaso Video Capture Card, Video Recording Card Wonderful 4K HDMI to 1080P USB C for Gaming Streaming TV Recorder, for Windows Mac OS System with USB C Adapter to Adjust PS4, Switch, Xbox1 Thanks for coming back to me, fdirst of all I had a webcam plugged in at the same time, unplugging that removed the HD webcam leaving only the USB video device showing. Thanks in advance PC is W10 version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2604) Debut says “Failed to connect to device” after selecting webcam as source OBS sees the capture device fine so the device is working and I can use that if needed I’d rather use Debut or Corel for the capture if possible. Corel gives the message “Unable to switch to Capture Mode, Check if your video capture driver is working properly” (under Device manager Cameras – USB video This device is working properly). I think I have enabled the webcam to be accessed in my anti-virus program (AVG). The device does show up in device manager under cameras as USB video Under Privacy settings the “Allow desktop apps to access your camera” is selected and Debut and another video editing program show up as having previously used the camera. For some reason neither the device nor my webcam no longer shows up. (My son is in a band and sometimes live streams from shows are streamed) The device used to show up in programs like NCH Debut and Corel Video as a webcam and I had no problem capturing the stream. I have a USB HDMI capture device that I have used in the past to capture stuff onto my main PC from live streams etc off a separate laptop.
